Lawn Aeration is arguably one of the most important cultural practices available for your lawn. Aeration helps control thatch, improve soil structure, helps create growth pockets for new roots, and opens the way for water and fertilizer to reach the root zone of your lawn. Annual or semiannual aeration is highly recommended for a healthier, thicker lawn.  Consider including Aeration in your Lawn care Program. It's a wise decision that will continue to pay dividends at the "grass roots" level long after the aerator is gone.

Over-seeding can help improve the overall appearance of your lawn by thickening up the overall turf, and filling in damaged areas. Over-seeding can be effective by itself but we have found that combined with Lawn Aeration the results improve dramatically.  By Aerating first it gives the seed areas to "bite" into the soil easier and start the germination process. Over-seeding can be performed either in the spring or early fall. We suggest early fall for the best results. If you choose over-seed in the spring, we may need to adjust your lawn care program so certain products do not interfere with the results of the seeding process.
